Beautiful weather and fun events top our Thursday evening in downtown Shreveport.
The Jam on the Red events at the Shreveport Aquarium continue tonight with Goga Music’s Goga Denisov.
Denisov is a Dallas musician comfortable with opera to Top 40 to Rap. He brings his eclectic style to Shreveport tonight for this free concert on the patio of the aquarium. Jam on the Red runs from 5:00-9:00 pm. Admission is free, food and drinks can be purchased on site from SALT Cafe. Word from Aquarium director Jon Whitehead is that the concerts will continue until it gets too hot for them!
Across the street at Sci-Port, get ready for a little beer tasting at Top of the Port. Enjoy
beer samples, food and music on the rooftop deck for $15. (21 and over only, please.) Sci-Port is asking that you make a reservation in advance, but we are pretty darned sure they will let you in at the door. The event goes from 5:30- 7:30 p.m.
In case of rain, the events will be held in the solarium.
