What an incredible day at today’s Lunch & Discover event at the Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center in downtown Shreveport! We were thrilled to welcome a full house of attendees for an afternoon filled with great food, live music, community connections, and exciting updates about everything happening downtown.
Guests enjoyed a delicious tasting table from Bon Asian Café, while live performances from Dan Garner and Ryan Ramos created the perfect atmosphere throughout the event. Sci-Port added a sweet surprise with a tabletop ice cream demonstration that was just as entertaining as it was delicious! We were also excited to have fresh produce available from our friends at Robertson Produce.
Beyond the food and fun, attendees had the opportunity to hear about the exciting momentum happening in downtown Shreveport. Jessica Schiele from the Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center shared the inspiring history of the building and the organization’s mission to support artists and entrepreneurs. We also heard from Eric Cantrell with Broadmoor, along with Christopher Coe, who provided updates on the new state office building project and shared the vision and thoughtful design behind this exciting addition to our community.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be Lunch & Discover without a little extra excitement! Throughout the afternoon we had prize drawings for our Lunch On Us and Shop On Us coupons to many lucky attendees.
Watching this event continue to grow is incredibly rewarding. Bringing our community together to connect, discover local businesses, and celebrate all the great things happening downtown is exactly what Lunch & Discover is all about.
