“Cyanotypes are one of the oldest photographic printing processes in the history of photography. The unique feature of the print is its shade of cyan blue, resulting from its exposure to ultraviolet light.” First used to reproduce architects and engineers’ technical drawings, the cyanotype technique quickly became a favorite by photographers soon after its discovery. You can experience the process at artspace on Thursday, March 7, 5:30pm – 7:30 pm. Join Sara Rastegar of Point Studio Art for an “immersive journey into the world of cyanotype” as she leads a class devoted to the process. All supplies will be provided, no prior experience is required, and all talent levels are welcomed! Cost is $40 (includes supplies). This will be a really cool experience.
