One of the coolest addresses downtown is 717 Crockett Street. The Andress Artist and Entrepreneur Center has a variety of office and desk spaces on the expansive open second floor. The first floor is home to creatives who work with their hands to fashion sets, props, art, home decor, candles, herbal elixirs, all natural skincare and more. It is really the best of both worlds; the art of business and the art of art. Now you can be part of it.

One of the artist spaces just behind the large gallery and Clean Slate Botanicals on the ground floor has come available. The 10×10 space puts you smack in the middle of all the activity. You will be surrounded by other artists and will be part of downtown Artwalks, Second Saturdays downtown, Art Markets at Andress, and a myriad of other events curated by both the DDA and staff and tenants at Andress.

Feedback from other artists and customers can be helpful!

The space is pretty darned neat but the story of the building is even more compelling. There is something really special about going to work in a space that has played a role in downtown’s history. Read the story of the Andress coming back to life.

If you’d like to experience the look and vibe of the space, there are several events coming up this weekend including the 2023 Vision Board Memory Art Box Experience on Saturday at 1 pm, and Bloom Sister Circle on Sunday at 2. Clean Slate Botanicals, the gallery and artist space are also open Monday- Saturday from 10 am-6 pm. Go by and take a look!
