The station was originally built for festivals and events and then the realization hit that hard-working downtown employees, who are often seen in the head-down-in-the-iPhone position, could use it, too! Says Michael Corbin, SWEPCO External Affairs Manager, “SWEPCO wants to make it easy for anyone downtown to power up their mobile devices at our SWEPCO No- Charge Charging Station located in the lobby of Mid South Tower.”
