On Friday, May 7, ShrevePark Parking Patrollers will be bagging the meters on the westbound lane (north side of street in front of Lofts) at 4:30 pm for no parking. Saturday morning beginning at 6 am, a large crane will be moving in to do some work on the Southern University Metro campus roof. This crane will block all of the 600 block of Texas with the exception of one eastbound lane. The parking spaces on the SOUTH side of the street will not be bagged. This work should end at 9 am.
Please be aware that you will be unable to use spaces on the north side of the street starting at 6 am Saturday until the crew is finished. This should not affect parking or driving on Louisiana Ave. or the 700 block of Texas Street.
