The Downtown Development Authority partnered with downtown businesses, Tim Hoover, Horticulturist with Shreveport Aquarium, Garrison’s Nursery, and the DDA’s Streetscape crew to launch the Adopt-A-Pot beautification initiative that has brightened our downtown area with stunning EarthPlanters. Since their arrival, these beautiful planters and plantings have been a standout feature in downtown Shreveport, adding pops of greenery, color, and charm to our community spaces. We’re thrilled to see the positive impact they’ve had in the city center!
Recently, EarthPlanter launched a photo competition for customers to showcase their planters. The top photos will win EarthPlanter Credits. The Downtown Development Authority has entered the competition to showcase the beautiful work that was accomplished by our team. If we are lucky to be chosen as one of the top photos, the EarthPlanter Credits will be used to add additional planters to our downtown area.
