Now that the sky has cleared, Lunch & Discover is ready to bring an added energy to the heart of city while encouraging people to explore local businesses, discover something new, and make the most of their lunch break.
Designed for downtown employees, visitors, and the community at large, Lunch & Discover transforms an ordinary lunch hour into an opportunity to experience downtown in a new way. Each event will feature live music, business spotlights, and special “Lunch on Us” coupons and gift certificates that can be redeemed with participating businesses.
Whether you work downtown every day, are visiting for the afternoon, or are simply looking for a reason to step out and enjoy the area, Lunch & Discover is meant to create an easy and enjoyable way to connect with downtown while supporting local businesses.
For downtown restaurants and retailers, the series is designed to create visibility and bring customers directly through the door during one of the most valuable times of the day. Participating businesses will be included in a coordinated downtown activation and marketing campaign, receive customer incentives through coupons and giveaways, and be featured in a professionally produced promotional video that will be shared by the Downtown Development Authority and provided to each business for ongoing use in their own marketing efforts.
The goal is simple: create more reasons for people to spend time downtown, support local businesses, and build momentum around the lunchtime experience in the district.
