Artspace, Critical MASS and Critical MASS Solo Exhibitions are projects of the Shreveport Regional Arts Council.
M.L. Dumars, literary winner of Critical MASS 11, presents her latest exhibition. This captivating story delves into a dystopian world where romance and revolution collide. Through Dumars’ storytelling, we follow the journey of a reserved librarian Empath and her spirited son, whose encounter with a strait-laced Security Agent sparks both passion and rebellion. In a society that condemns their very existence, Dumars invites us to ponder themes of autonomy and human connection with her poignant narrative.

ML’s exhibition opens Friday, April 26 with two other exhibitions at artspace celebrating Critical MASS 12. The exhibition opening is FREE and will have a performance at 7:30 PM by QMajor the Violinist.
