Golden Lens Exhibition @ Central ARTSTATION

This exhibition highlights select photographers that submitted to the Golden Lens competition open during the two weeks of Prize Fest in 2022. The competition was a collaborative effort between Bossier Parish Community College Foundation and Prize Foundation for photographers to submit works made in Caddo and Bossier Parish celebrating North Louisiana. A panel of professional photographers specializing in commercial and fine art selected a collection of images to be shown in the public exhibition. A winning photograph will be awarded a $1,000 prize!
This exhibition will be on display from January 12 – February 11.
The exhibition is open Mon-Fri from 8:30am – 5:00pm excluding Martin Luther King Day.

Film Prize 2023 Kickoff & Afterparty @ Shreveport Regional Arts Council
Feb 8 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Louisiana Film Prize will be hosting a kickoff party, mixer, and film grant giveaway event at Shreveport Regional Arts Council (801 Crockett Street) in Shreveport on Wednesday, February 8rg from 6-8pm.
Afterward we will be headed to the Noble Savage Shreveport for the official after-party for live music and libations.
The mixer (6-8pm at Shreveport Regional Arts Council) is a chance for area filmmakers, actors, crew-members and the entire arts community to connect with one another and to hear about this year’s $50,000 Film Prize short film competition. Complementary food and drink will be provided.
Film Prize will also be giving away three $500 grants toward filmmakers next short films drawn from the attendees of the event who register for this year’s competition. Must be present to win!
We can’t wait to see everyone there!
