Shreveport Regional Arts Council presents the return of Artist UP the ARTIST ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAM!

Artist Up! will level up skills and experience of emerging artists through a series of courses/classes at the Central ARTSTATION.
Led by renowned Dallas, Texas curator and mixed media artist Lesli Marshall, this 9 week course promises to deliver strategies for increasing earned income for artists from the production, marketing, distribution of Art by at least 30% within one year of course completion.
It is a goal of the Shreveport Regional Arts Council to strengthen the professional arts community in order to advance the Arts, and maximize access to the Arts, for the people of Shreveport, Bossier and Northwest Louisiana.
Graduates will create a marketing portfolio and take part in a group exhibition at the Central ARTSTATION.
This year the Shreveport Regional Arts Council has decided to take advantage of the Zoom technology people are using to connect all over the world by reaching outside of the Shreveport area to reach out to full-time artists from LA to Dallas and a few places in between. Participants will learn how to reach all markets. These artists have worked on international projects, been hired by Art Basel and show with large galleries or do their own sales through social media, and make a great living.
Some have other jobs and families and others are young and just starting out. You will hear from different genres and learn what can work for you.
