Downtown Artwalk-JANUARY

Our January 2019 artwalk returns January 2 in the Red River District downtown. For the first month of the new year, we’re planning a modified artwalk- all the same fun but only ONE location; Bon Temps Coffeehouse, Artipsy and promenade in between. VISIT with local artists, see (and purchase) one-of-a-kind works, WATCH our All Female Art Live Throwdown during which artists Star Williams, Karen La Beau and Hannah Roark will compete head to head for hearts and minds and all the marbles. ENJOY Singer/musician Anna Gleason‘s own special brand of indie/folk/pop grooves. LISTEN to a bit of Shreveport history as Liz tells the tale of the Shreveport Historic A-Truss Bridge and the man who designed it. DRAW with Architect Mischa Farrell and Sketch the City. For tonight only, PAINT an A-Truss Bridge on canvas at Artipsy and take your own work of art home with you! PLAY Artwalk Trivia and win fun prizes! DRINK Bons’ entire line of delicious coffee and cocoa drinks (hot or cold) as well as adult beverages. EAT tasty sweets and dessert items. Isn’t this great? One location, and we’re able to engage all of your senses.

All on-street parking is FREE after 5 pm, and the Eldorado and Sam’s Town parking garages are also free and open to the public.
