Get Your Business On the Right Track: Win Cash with NewVenture

This is an online class (lecture and guest speakers each Tuesday night for 10 weeks) with optional in-person lab times (Thursdays from 11am – 2pm at Cohab in downtown Shreveport).

FastTrac is an entrepreneurship course to aspiring and established business owners throughout Northwest Louisiana. FastTrac NewVenture is a ten-session course that provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to refine their business concepts and launch successful enterprises.

It is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs or ones who have recently launched their businesses or established businesses who would like to get on track or expand with a written plan.

With the guidance of experienced facilitators, business experts, and a network of supportive peers, participants will:

Refine their business concepts
Identify the components of a strong business plan, and
Gain the knowledge and skills they need to launch a profitable business.
This FastTrac NewVenture course will be offered online on Tuesday evenings. An in-person lab will also be offered on Thursdays, at Cohab for those who would like to work on their business plans in a collaborative environment where they can ask questions as the write. Labs are NOT mandatory, but in order to receive a certificate in entrepreneurship from the class, you must plan to attend at least 8 of 10 sessions online.

A business plan and pitch competition will be offered following the class for cash and service prizes!
