Please join us this Saturday in Downtown- Shreveport (Festival Plaza) from 9 am –  1 pm for the Health & Wellness Empowerment Pep Rally/Job Fair.

Come to learn about:

  1. available resources for education, health, and wellness
  2. hiring opportunities for local organizations/corporations and small businesses
  3. voter registration drives, educating and empowering the community of the power of their VOTE!

Planned activities include:

  • DJ 3 feet,
  • three Major stations (Education, Health & Wellness)
  • FREE cardio work,
  • FREE cotton candy (while supplies last) for school kids with 3.0 GPA with no D’s or F’s,
  • a bounce house,
  • a job fair
  • voters registration drive/ Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc
  • Strolling/Alpha Phi Alpha Inc./ Grambling State University
  • Bit pit smoking food truck
  • and over 25 businesses/organizations.
