If you’ve not been to the SALT Restaurant at the Shreveport Aquarium, it’s time to plan a meal there. The restaurant is now open seven days a week from 11:00 am until 5 pm with the exception of Thursdays, when the hours are 11 am until 9 pm for JAM ON THE RED ,their every Thursday night free concert on the patio from 5:30 – 9 p.m. They’ve also added a Sunday Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Save a little $$ by signing up for text updates. So what about the eats? If you’ve only got an hour, you may want to try the Express Lunch Mon.-Fri., 11 am- 2 p.m. This is a smaller menu of things they can put in front of you quickly, ranging from Cuba Paninis to their Classic Burger.
If you have a little more time 
to linger, dive into the expansive full menu that features salads, flatbreads, sandwiches, burgers and House Specials. One recent post was of their new Poutine, hand cut fries with duck gravy and cheddar cheese curds. In addition, they have several vegetarian options and are committed to locally sourcing their foods locally and regionally from Mahaffey Farms, Smith Family Farms, Lowder Bakery, and others.
