The 48th Annual Red River Revel wraps up its nine day run this Sunday. Over 75 artists, 4 stages of music and performing arts, and so many food options!Come celebrate the arts and the beautiful weather at the final weekend.
The Magic of Mermaids opens this weekend at Shreveport Aquarium for a limited run. The Wands and Wishes Mermaids are arriving to swim with our sharks and tropical fish, creating breathtaking underwater performances. The Mermaids will take turns in the water each day from 11 – 4 pm.
Robinson Film Center kicks into Halloween mode this month with a slate of spooky favorites. Do the time warp again at The Rocky Horror Picture Show, attend a magical glow stick dance party with Matilda, compete in a costume contest at RFC Trivia: Halloween Edition, and spend girls night with The Witches of Eastwick. This weekend has showings of Join or Die and The Substance. Check the website for details on all events.
Canvas & Cocktails with the Gumbeauxdelux band is on tap for Artipsy Friday night, October 4th from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. Tickets.
Fatty Arbuckles is also hosting the ever-popular Big Deal Burlesque Friday night beginning at 10:00 pm. $10 cover.
