Shopping downtown’s small and local retail shops and eateries is always fun, but Sci-Port Discovery Center is throwing in another reason to spend your money locally. Until December 31, $10 spent at a downtown retailer, restaurant or attraction will get you $5 off a combination ticket to Sci-Port! The combination ticket includes admission to all the Sci-Port exhibits- The POP-Power of Play, Adventure of Intrigue, the IMAX theater, and entry to the seasonal SnoPort Icicle Forest exhibit. These tickets normally run $25 for adults and $20 for children, but with receipts from a downtown business dated Dec. 1-31, you will get $5 off!
Experience an Icicle Forest complete with interactive learning activities like “Ice Fishing”, “Igloo Brick Building Gallery”, “Make-A-Flake” and “Snowball Castle”. New activities will include the “Icicle Forest”, which allows visitors to light up a tree using tactile and non-tactile interaction, “Snow-mazing”, a walk-thru maze and “Let It Blow”, a kinetic energy-driven activity. The exhibition will feature a total of 15 activities for visitors of all ages. The IMAX Theater is featuring two seasonal movies, To The Arctic and the always popular Santa Versus the Snowman. 
So here’s how it works. Go to one of our cool downtown shops or eateries and get a coffee, lunch, purchase a piece of art, furniture, a stocking stuffer or a stocking to stuff the stuffer in. Save your receipt! Go to Sci-Port and show them the receipt to get $5 off your combo pass. If you have receipts for $20 worth of purchases, you will get $5 off FOUR Sci-Port combo tickets, receipts worth $25, you will get $5 off FIVE Sci-Port combo tickets and so on. Use this deal as many times as you would like between now and Dec. 31!
