Ponder original local railroading artifacts, and look through beautiful photographs taken by Warren Caileff, purchase your very own Railroad Museum tee-shirts, and enjoy tours of the museums and the beautiful HO model Railroad set that winds through ‘downtown Shreveport.’
Talk to Don Kimmel about Operation Lifesaver and the KCS Historical Society and enjoy a variety of free presentations about trains and train history. Talks will be held in the Ozone Room and are free to attend!

- 3:15 pm: Don Kimmel – Operation Lifesaver- Learn how Operation Lifesaver works with railroads to save lives.
While at Train Day, enjoy a meal or snack from one of our food vendors- Taylor’d Eats (Jamaican/Caribbean Cuisine), Down South Dawgs & Catering (hot dogs and sausages) and Frios Pops.
Train Day at the Museum is Sunday, May 15, noon-4 pm, 142 North Common Street. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome, too!
