Seventy years ago, a small group of parents had a dream to better meet the needs of their children with disabilities. As a result of that dream, The Arc Caddo-Bossier was founded in 1954 to develop unique programs and services for children with disabilities. The organization is still meeting those needs today.
“To commemorate this milestone achievement, The Arc Caddo-Bossier will host a 70th Anniversary Celebration, Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 11am to 3pm at Festival Plaza (101 Crockett Street) in downtown Shreveport.” General Admission is $10 (food included with admission) for the event which will feature live music and lots of fun including a magic show, petting zoo, inflatables, fabulous food and much more.
