The Downtown Development Authority was excited to launch the first Lunch & Discover event this week, and thanks to the support of our downtown partners and community members, it was a success.
We would like to extend a special thank you to 400 Texas for hosting the inaugural event and providing a welcoming space for attendees to gather, connect, and discover what Downtown Shreveport has to offer.
A big thank you also goes to Winston Hall, whose live music created the perfect atmosphere throughout the event. Guests enjoyed a wonderful performance while networking, visiting with local businesses, and taking a break from their workday.
We are also grateful to Fat Tuesday for providing a delicious tasting table that gave attendees an opportunity to sample offerings from one of Downtown’s newest restaurants. Their participation helped make the event a memorable experience for everyone who attended.
Another thank you goes to Robinson Produce for providing a beautiful assortment of fresh produce that added great touch to the event.
Lunch & Discover was created to bring people together, support local businesses, and encourage residents, workers, and visitors to explore Downtown Shreveport. We are thrilled with the positive response and look forward to continuing the series throughout the summer.
