Fans of Sci-Port Discovery Center have a lot to be happy about today. The center for all things STEM (Science- Technology-Engineering-Math) has reopened their Space Center and Planetarium, are hosting some fun new events and have restructured their entrance fees with a money-saving opportunity.

Though the Power of Play Museum and IMAX theater have been open since March, it was time to spruce up the place, add some new offerings and host a ‘re’ ribbon-cutting to remind everyone that the wonderful space that makes learning fun for children and adults alike is open for business.

As of October 18, most of the 1st floor is open, as is access to the Sawyer Space Dome Planetarium. Admission is $12/person and includes the re-opened areas and the Power of Play(POP), the children’s museum. Re-Discover passes are also available at $100 per person and cover 10 visits to the Center until December 31, a savings of $20. The IMAX theater is a separate ticket.
