It is that time of year….that talented participants get to showcase their works and have fun doing so at ARTBREAK. This year’s event promises to be “just the way you like it with more color, more creativity, more dancing to the music, and much more family friendly fun.” ARTBREAK 2024 is celebrating its 38th year thanks to the Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC). The event is once again highlighting Arts in Education programs in Caddo Parish Public Schools and filling the 95,000 square feet of space at the Shreveport Convention Center with visual, literary, performing, culinary, fashion, lighting design, and film Art. Wow!!! But wait… that’s not all…”SRAC is awarding almost $25,000 in savings bonds and cash prizes to hundreds of students; and welcoming almost 50,000 students, parents, teachers, and festival goers to the free, hands-on family festival weekend, April 12, 13, and 14.
