Free, family-friendly outdoor concerts will feature a musical array of talents, artists, and genres!

April 16, 2026 – The countdown to a memorable season of FREE Shreveport concerts under the summer sun is underway! Today, the LEVITT AMP SHREVEPORT MUSIC SERIES announced its impressive lineup of artists who will perform in Caddo Common Park on the following dates. 

These free concerts will be held from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, so grab your family, friends, and neighbors and get ready to experience the power of free, live music to bring our community together!  

Supported in part by the Levitt Family Foundation, a social impact funder at the intersection of music, public space, and community building, supporting nonprofits nationwide, the Levitt AMP Music Series program injects new life into underused public spaces through free, outdoor concerts across the country.  

The LEVITT AMP SHREVEPORT MUSIC SERIES will present 10 free, family-friendly concerts to the public this SUMMER and FALL at CADDO COMMON PARK, 869 Texas Ave. in Downtown Shreveport. 

The series will feature a diverse lineup of high-caliber talent spanning genres like ZYDECO, COUNTRY, and SMOOTH JAZZ to name a few.  

Kicking off the 2026 series at 5:00pm on MAY 2, in conjunction with Taco Wars, is QUIMIKOZ, a high-energy Latino cumbia-fusion band that blends Afro-Cuban cumbia rhythms, reggae, and hip-hop influences, often featuring a dynamic horn ensemble. 

Also scheduled to perform for our summer line up are the following artists- 

  •         May 9 – Hillbilly Slip (Kevin Mac and Jacob Lyda) – Kevin is a country artist and songwriter renowned for exciting live performances that seamlessly blend country and bluegrass influences, and Jacob is a singer-songwriter with a timeless, classic country music style. 
  •         May 16 – Chubby Carrier – As a third-generation zydeco musician and renowned accordion player and drummer, Chubby Carrier shares the love of his home state, Louisiana, while celebrating its unique musical expression. 
  •         May 30 – Terence Fisher Band – Whether playing an original piece or singing a time-tested cover, the sound of smooth jazz artist, Terence Fisher Band is sure to have you vibing with your favorites. 
  •         June 6 – Natural Change Band – As seasoned musicians, these gentlemen define the word, flow. Whether they are playing R&B, funk, or smooth jazz, Natural Change Band is first-class entertainment.  
  •         June 13 – Titus Showers – The God-given talent of Titus Showers combines traditional gospel with a contemporary R&B feel. He is the former lead singer of the family group, the Showers and his soulful, award-winning sound is sure to move you.

The public is invited to bring their own picnic/snacks, blankets, and lawn chairs to the concerts which will have an open lawn setting. There will also be food trucks, an arts market and hands-on activities for kids including make-take art, a community art project, bubbles and sprinkler fun! The Levitt AMP Shreveport Music Series is located at CADDO COMMON PARK at 869 Texas Ave. in Downtown Shreveport. Admission is free!
