A major new entertainment project is officially one step closer to reality for downtown Shreveport. The proposed G-Dome, a 140-foot, multi-purpose domed venue backed by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, has received zoning approval, allowing the project to advance to its next phase.
The G-Dome is envisioned as a large-scale entertainment venue capable of hosting concerts, live performances, and special events. Its distinctive circular dome design and height required zoning variances, which were reviewed and approved by the city following detailed filings and presentations. Conceptual renderings previously shared illustrated a preliminary vision for the structure, with city officials noting that final designs remain subject to additional review and refinement.
Once completed, the G-Dome has the potential to become one of the most recognizable structures in downtown Shreveport and a significant addition to the city’s entertainment landscape. While no construction timeline has been announced, approval of the zoning request marks an important milestone for the project.
Large-scale investments like the G-Dome reflect growing interest and confidence in downtown Shreveport’s future, signaling continued momentum and opportunity within the city center.
