Mayor Tom Arceneaux, Chief Wayne Smith and the Shreveport Police Department are pleased to invite our media partners to attend a briefing at our newest SPD facility located at 430 Travis Street. The event will take place Monday, July 29th, at 12:00 noon, in front of the new Shreveport police property, made possible by our great community partners at SWEPCO.
Chief Smith will address the benefits and enhancements that the new facility will bring to the downtown area. This event marks further steps in our ongoing efforts to evolve to better serve our community. We look forward to the use of this facility and expect it to make an immediate impact.
