We are excited to share some festive news with you! This holiday season, Downtown Shreveport will shine brighter than ever with a new, unified campaign: Santa Calls You Downtown.
Over the past year, the Downtown Development Authority has met with the Shreveport Regional Arts Council, Downtown Shreveport Unlimited, Visit Shreveport-Bossier, and other community partners to discuss how to elevate the downtown holiday season. From those conversations, the DDA has developed a new holiday umbrella campaign designed to showcase the incredible experiences, businesses, and attractions that make Downtown Shreveport the place to be for the holidays.
The goal of Santa Calls You Downtown is simple:
- Unify our message. Showcase all downtown holiday events and promotions under one recognizable campaign.
- Increase visibility. Ensure that locals and visitors alike see Downtown Shreveport as the destination for festive fun.
- Boost cross-promotion. Help businesses, programs, and attractions support one another by highlighting everything happening downtown this season.
From holiday shopping and dining specials to live performances, art experiences, and family-friendly activities, Santa Calls You Downtown is designed to spotlight it all. Together, we can position Downtown Shreveport as the heart of the holidays and give everyone a reason to come celebrate with us.
