The YMCA Urban Adventure Race is the ultimate urban hybrid adventure, sending
teams of 2 racers out on a mystery course around the city. The Race starts at 8:00
AM on Saturday, May 5th, 2018, at the Downtown YMCA, 400 McNeill Street,
Shreveport, Louisiana. The cost is $50/team.
All funds raised after expenses from the YMCA Urban Adventure Race will support the
YMCA of Northwest Louisiana’s annual campaign. Regardless of age, background or
financial ability, the Y reaches out to and nurtures the potential of all people. The
YMCA of Northwest Louisiana’s annual campaign supports scholarships for
memberships and youth program participants.
Athleticism, Strategy, and A LOT OF FUN! This popular Y race has it all!
The YMCA Urban Adventure Race is the ultimate urban hybrid adventure, sending teams of 2 racers out on a mystery course around the city. The Race starts at 8:00 AM on Saturday, May 5th, 2018, at the Downtown YMCA, 400 McNeil Street, Shreveport, Louisiana. The cost is $50/team. The course ranges from 10-20 miles (10-15 miles biking 3-5 miles running) and 2-4 hours, depending on your planning skills and endurance level. Teams will combine athleticism with thought-provoking strategy and may expect to be running, biking, paddling, and performing other crazy stunts in a race around the city.
The POST RACE PARTY will be held at Parish Taceaux!
