Blessing of the Texas Street Bridge
At midnight on Fat Tuesday, after the final parades have rolled, a crowd gathers at the center of the Texas Street Bridge in downtown Shreveport to participate in a closing ceremony led by Monsignor Provenza of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. This final round of revelry is open to the public.
