Artist Reception for Meredith Piper’s Weavings

Thursday, March 10th, 5-8 pm, The Agora Borealis is hosting a reception honoring Meredith Piper and her newest collection of Weavings.

Meredith Piper draws inspiration for her weavings from the colors, patterns, and beauty of the Southwest. The process for these pieces begin on a wooden loom where intricate layers are woven back and forth until a story begins to emerge. Meredith encases the finished weaving in a hand-built frame that compliments the structure of the woven piece. These encased weavings, inspired by nature, are full of texture and contrasting elements that keep the eyes entertained. These are a “must see” in person!
