Cut to the Chase: World Premiere
Shreveport-Bossier native Blayne Weaver and his producers Mindy Bledsoe and Chris Lyon set to premiere their feature film Cut to the Chaseon Thursday, August 4th at the historic Strand Theatre in Shreveport! The dress code is requested to be cocktail attire, but the crew will be in formalwear and you are welcome to join us in wearing formal if you choose!
ABOUT THE PREMIERE
The event will truly be glamorous – nothing short of a true movie premiere atmosphere under the dancing lights of the Strand Theater. It will feature a red carpet and photo op when you arrive, after which you will enter the atrium of the historic Strand Theater and visit the refreshment counter where you may purchase movie snacks and beverages – including wine, beer, and liquor (yes, you can take it into the theater!). The cast and crew will be mingling throughout the lobby before the show, ready to shake your hand or pose for photos.
When we begin the program, an introduction will be made to the film by a special guest. Then we will enjoy the captivating 90-minute feature film Cut to the Chase! Afterward, a Q&A with the cast and crew will take place where you will hear insights into how the movie was made and what makes Shreveport and Bossier City a great place for art and business, including film!
