Cohab is a local non profit organization housed in Downtown Shreveport, LA for six strong years of community growth. With a focus on growing entrepreneurs and building existing small business, Cohab has joined the efforts in improving our economy through establishing good local business and relationships. In a region where statistics show a significant need for more jobs and better use of limited resources, the need for community networking and collaboration is at its highest calling. This is where Cohab comes in, as a space, community, and educator to help facilitate the planning, building, and execution of successful local business.

This month, Cohab is organizing their first fundraiser in years, with the combined goals of raising funds as well as further educating our business community of the wealth of resources available to them to propel them quicker into success.

Based on Cohab’s belief in the strength of collaboration for growth, we have teamed up with Red River Brewing Company and Highland Cream in Shreveport/Bossier’s first Beer and Ice Cream Social. Tickets will include a flight of 4 Red River Brewery beers paired with four specially crafted ice cream flavors to awaken your senses and bring back a little of your inner child. Live music will be provided by The Kat Herrin Band, and sponsored by Jim Malsch.
