Join us for Second Saturday, a day-long art experience Downtown! Each Second Saturday (June 11, July 9, Aug. 13 and so on) from 10 am- 4 pm, Downtown Shreveport is going to become your day trip for art. Want to view amazing art? We’ll have you covered, but in addition, you also be able to meet artists, create art of your own, shop, eat, & repeat.
Each Second Saturday, activities will run the gamut from live music and street dance to new exhibits, talks, to art strolls and hands-on art-creation opportunities.
Downtown’s art partners will also be throwing their doors open on these Saturdays to allow for a full art experience.

Join us for Second Saturday, a day-long art experience Downtown! Each Second Saturday (June 11, July 9, Aug. 13 and so on) from 10 am- 4 pm, Downtown Shreveport is going to become your day trip for art. Want to view amazing art? We’ll have you covered, but in addition, you also be able to meet artists, create art of your own, shop, eat, & repeat.

She will fill you up with delicious fried catfish platters, big shrimp, boudin balls, and always some dessert like her Mama made to fill that tiny centimeter of space still in your stomach. So good you’ll take a photo and text a friend! (Sha’baby’s is a bit hidden. Once you walk in the door, go up the stairs to your right to the second floor!)

RFC’s Mission
The Robinson Film Center, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit arts organization based in Shreveport, educates, enriches and entertains through the power of film.
RFC exhibits independent, international and classic cinema daily in two movie theaters, with a full-service bistro and special events space upstair. RFC provides film history and media literacy classes for all ages, focusing strongly on K-12 students and senior citizens. RFC also supports outreach programs that promote and strengthen the state’s film industry.
