Sportspectrum’s Downtown Christmas Run
Sportspectrum’s annual Downtown Shreveport Christmas Run will be held Dec. 6. The fun run begins at 6:30 p.m. and the 5K run/walk begins at 7 p.m. with Christmas music, elves and more.
New for 2016: Instead of a t-shirt the first 1000 people to register will receive a 40″ x 60″ fleece blanket!
Entry Fee: Early Registration until November 15th— $22.00.
Late Registration (November 16 – December 2) – $27.00.
Late, Late Registration December 3—5 will be $32.00.
Race Day Dec. 6th entry fee will be $40.00.
Packet Pick-up: Saturday, December 3rd from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday, December 4th from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm – at Sportspectrum
Monday, December 5th from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm – at Sportspectrum
Tuesday, December 6th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm – at SPORTSPECTRUM – & –
Tuesday, December 6th from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm – at the race site:
Downtown across from the courthouse.
All race packets not picked up by the start of the race will be forfeited, no refunds, no packets held after the race.
Chip timed race: This race will be timed using IPICO Chips. Your chip will be attached to your bib. So do not forget your bib on race day.
Date & Starting Times: Tuesday, December 6th – 3.1 mile Run/Walk (3 loops) begins at 7:00 pm
Awards: Overall winners and runner-up male and female for the 3.1 mile run will receive a $100 and $25.00 gift certificates, respectively to Sportspectrum. Age group winner and runner-up will receive special prizes in the following age group categories:
- 1-8
- 9-10
- 11-14
- 15-19
- 20-24
- 25-29
- 30-34
- 35-39
- 40-44
- 45-49
- 50-54
- 55-59
- 60-64
- 65-69
- 70+
Special Note: Under RRCA regulations, absolutely no baby joggers, strollers, bikes, skateboards, inline or roller skates will be allowed!
There is no pose off this year, but we would love for you to dress up!
