HISTORIC SHREVEPORT: A GUIDE
Our special guest this month in our Book That Changed Your Life series is Shreveport City Councilman Jeff Everson, representing downtown’s District B. He’s selected the book, Historic Shreveport: A Guide by Bailey Thomson. “The book was published in 1980 or so when I was just learning to walk,” Everson said, “and I would look at the pictures before I could comprehend the words, then read it with great interest every few years and still reference it today.”

Join us for a great discussion on this historical account of Shreveport and how it helped lead Everson to a career in public service. The book is available at Shreve Memorial Library and on Amazon.
