It’s year 35 for the African American Parade!
At 11 am (or thereabouts), the parade will roll down Milam to Market to Texas Street and then back to the staging grounds at the Municipal Auditorium. Be aware that the streets along the route will close to traffic by 9:30 am. The parade will include floats, beauty queens, marching bands and dignitaries, and is free and open to the public. The reviewing stand will be at the Caddo Parish Courthouse in the 500 block of Texas Street.
While downtown for the parade, please pop in at any of our downtown restaurants for food and refreshment!
