Come experience a Night in Harlem at ‘Club Mahogany’! Enjoy an evening of vintage fashion and flair for the 3rd Ruby Gala affair on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Shreveport Regional Arts Council-Central Artstation, 801 Crockett Street, Downtown Shreveport, LA.
This party with a purpose will take you back to the Harlem Renaissance—a time when the arts and culture of the Black experience created a cultural awakening across America and Harlem was the center of it all!
The evening will kick-off at 7:00 PM and the ‘Club Mahogany’ speakeasy will come alive with entertainment from special guest artists performing songs and poetry inspired by the Harlem Renaissance.
Harlem class and sass is the attire for this evening. Ladies and Gentlemen can dress to impress in elegant, classy, sassy themed looks from the 1920s and 30s! Prizes will be given to be best dressed Lady & Gentleman! So, come dance, dine, & have a good ole’ Harlem Nights time!
