Location:
Riverfront: Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway, Shreveport, Louisiana

Race Events:
The 5K Run, 5K Walk & the Five Mile Road Race are on a well-lit and mostly flat point-to-point course. Bus transportation will be provided to the starting line drop off areas. There will be no vehicular traffic. These races are sanctioned by the Red River Road Runners and the RRCA.

Packet Pick-up:
Packet pick up at Run Wild, 9463 Ellerbe, Shreveport, on Thursday, November 16th  from 11-6 and Friday November 17th from 11-5. Run Wild is offering a 15% discount to non-RRRR members and a 20% discount to RRRR members on non-sale items during packet pick up.

Packet pick up and late registration also from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Sci-Port (corner of Lake St. & Clyde Fant Parkway

Fees:
5 Mile Road Race and 5K Run & 5K Walk
$25.00 until October 30th (online or by postmark date)
$30.00 October 31st to November 9th (shirts guaranteed to this date only)
$35.00 November 10th to race day
$7.00 guest food and beverage only
Packet:
Includes a unisex long sleeve 1/4 zip shirt, race number, participation ribbon, and a food/beverage coupon. Shirts will be guaranteed to November 9th registration date and must be picked up. No shirts will be mailed.

5:00 pm ·········· Bus Transportation Begins
5:30 pm ·········· Registration ends & last bus to start line.
6:00 pm ·········· Race Time!!  New, earlier start time again this year. Don’t be late 🙂
6:30 pm ·········· Post Party Begins
Live band, full course meal by Rachel Ginsberg, A Stone’s Throw Catering, beverages & dessert.
8:00 pm ·········· Awards

Awards:
5 Mile Road Race Cash Awards & Gift Certificates (GC)
Open Male/Female: 1st- $250, 2nd- $150
Masters Male/Female: (40-49) 1st- $75 GC, 2nd- $50 GC
Grand Masters Male/Female: (50-59) 1st- $75 GC, 2nd- $50 GC
Senior Grand Masters Male/Female (60-69) 1st- $75 GC, 2nd $50 GC
**NEW Legends Male/Female (70 and up)  1st- $75 GC, 2nd $50 GC
Age Group Male/Female:14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and up.
1st and 2nd in each age group will receive awards. No duplicate awards.
(Prize money will be mailed after validation of results)

5K Run & 5K Walk
Open: Male/Female: 1st & 2nd
Master: Male/Female 1st
Male/Female: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-14 will be awarded 1st-5th
Male/Female: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65 & older will be awarded 1st & 2nd place.
Open Male/Female Walkers: 1st & 2nd

Note: No Chip, No Ride, No Time, No Award!!

Parking & Hotel Accommodations:
The Parkway will be closed for the race. Parking is only at the North end of the Parkway in the lots located Sci-Port. Contact the Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourists Bureau for hotel and motels: 318-222-9391.

Post Race Party:
A finish line party will be held in Sci-Port. Enjoy food, soft drinks, beer, and music. Guest tickets are $7

Volunteers:
If you would like to volunteer, please fill out a paper entry form and check the volunteer blank. Volunteers will receive a shirt and a food/beverage coupon.
