The heat is on and Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC) has made a change to keep you chillin’. Their monthly Thirsty Thursday in Caddo Common event is moving indoors, to the air-conditioned Central ARTstation engine room.
You’ll be able to lounge in cool comfort as you listen to the R&B and Pop-infused sounds of QMajor the Violinist and enjoy the poetic works of PoeticX and friends. The event begins at 6 and runs until 9 pm. Admission is free, and drinks will be available from Fatty Arbuckles Bar.
We love Caddo Common Park but in these blistering ‘dog days of August (and maybe September, too), we think this is a great call.

The next Thirsty Thursday is planned for Thursday, Sept. 14 and features The Joanitones and PoeticX. Here’s hoping the weather then is a bit more outdoorsy.
