Mutiny at Shreveport Aquarium

The pirate adventure is back! The Aquarium has been taken over by pirates and you are part of the crew. Learn pirate skills and discover all kinds of cool (and creepy) sea creatures.
Ramble over a creaky bridge, hoist the sails, hunt for pirate treasure, wander down Sea Monster Alley, meet a mermaid, avoid the kraken tentacles and more on your way to meet the Pirate Captain Bones.

Pre-Halloween Tour, Ogilvie-Wiener Mansion
Visit the Historic Ogilvie-Wiener Mansion (The old Florentine Club and the True Blood House) for a fun walking tour of this 9,000sq historic Mansion on Friday Oct. 25th from 6-8 pm . You will enjoy learning the history of this fabulous Shreveport Mansion. Come see the Victorian decor and vintage antique as well as the original bar from the 1950’s where Elvis , Betty Davis John Wayne , Perry Como and many others performed and visited.  The Cost is $10.00 per person, which is a donation that goes towards the continuing restoration of this beautiful home. Get ready for a night of frightening fun and all things STEM at Sci-Port’s Tricks & Treats Night! Come dressed in your Halloween best and compete in our Costume Contest for a chance to win prizes! Explore the center during the Spooky Science Scavenger Hunt, where each gallery will host a thrilling experiment, demonstration, or activity. Solve the hidden clues to uncover where your treats are lurking—just beware of a few tricky surprises along the way! Please note that we’ll be open as usual from 9 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, October 26. We’ll then close briefly before reopening from 4 PM to 7 PM for the Tricks & Treats Night event! Tickets.

Halloween Paint Party with DJ Mega Marly at Artipsy

Unleash your inner engineer with our ofrenda engineering challenge, where you’ll design structures inspired by the beautiful altars built to honor loved ones. Plus, get hands-on with a skull circuit activity and more. This is a perfect opportunity to celebrate through both art and science!Saturday, November 2nd – Science in the Dark

The Haunting at The Logan Mansion
725 Austen Place, October 31, 8:00 – 11:00 pm
The Logan Mansion is hosting a very haunting experience on Halloween which will include live music and food
will be available for purchase along with bartenders set up around the property to quench your thirst. Spirits roam freely at the Mansion, so be prepared to encounter them! This is an adult only event and all proceeds are considered donations towards the ongoing preservation and renovations of the 1897 Historic Logan Mansion. Costumes are highly recommended.

Halloween Zydeco Costume Party at Lake Street Bar

Get your costumes ready. It’s a Halloween Zydeco costume party at Lake Street Bar hosted by Kountry Smooth and featuring B Cam & the Zydeco Young Bucks. Doors open at 7pm happy hour. $10 entry.
