The Emmett Hook Center at First Methodist Church Presents “Fiddler on the Roof”
Directed by Dr. Katie Wampler | Music Direction by Dr. Dan Gibbs – A timeless story of faith, family, and tradition, Fiddler on the Roof captivated audiences with its heartfelt music and poignant storytelling.This beloved Broadway classic features Mike Martindale as Tevye, Seva May as Golde, Rick Stovall as Lazar Wolf, and Elizabeth Beck as the Fiddler. Set in the village of Anatevka, the production brings  powerful themes of change and resilience to the stage and is filled with unforgettable songs like “If I Were a Rich Man,” “Tradition,” and “Sunrise, Sunset.”

Shop Local at the Shreveport Farmers’ Market – July 19, 8 AM to 12 PM
Festival Plaza comes alive each Saturday morning with the Shreveport Farmers’ Market. With more than 75 vendors offering farm-fresh produce, local meats, canned goods, and handmade items, it’s one of the region’s largest and most authentic markets. Grab a fresh breakfast or lunch while browsing local honey, herbs, soaps, jewelry, candles, and other handcrafted goods. Live music by Scott Tisdale, 8:30 – 10:30 am. No cooking demonstration this week.

Robinson Film Center
This week at Robinson Film Center catch showings of “Superman” and “Eddington”. Heels & Reels returns on July 22 with a showing of “Erin Brockovich” followed by dinner provided by Abby Singer’s Bistro. Christmas in July RFC Membership Drive runs July 21 – 27. It’s  halfway to Christmas! In celebration, RFC is offering an exclusive coupon pack with any membership purchased or renewed July 21-27. You don’t want to miss these deals!
