The 35th Krewe of Gemini parade is about to be reality.  The parade rolls from downtown Shreveport’s Clyde Fant Parkway at 2:45 pm on Saturday, February 10th.  Featuring 40-50 fabulous entities including “masked revelers on floats, marchers, and the Shriner’s cars,” the event will have something for everybody.  Find your friends in their extravagant costumes and masks and get ready to “catch a mess” of beads, toys, trinkets, and other “throws”.   Everyone knows what throws are, right?  Stuffed stuff, blink in the night stuff, whirley stuff, cool stuff, twirly stuff, long beads, big beads, and colorful beads.  Folks get really creative in ways to catch their stuff so figure out yours and be there.  The family-friendly event also offers various activities for children, including face painting and games.
