TWO DAYS AND COUNTING UNTIL OUR HISTORIC HISTORY ON TAP!

On March 24, we will once again welcome History on Tap, an event that is unique to downtown Shreveport.  History on Tap is the ONLY History-Beer Pairing event in the world and was created by us because we love fun stuff with a little book learnin’ thrown in for good measure.

On Thursday, March 24, 35 different beers will be available to sample for free in your free commemorative shot glass as you jump on the free trolley and visit five different locations to learn about the history of downtown’s buildings, places and people. Did we mention that it’s free?

History on Tap is in its third year of fun, made possible by Glazer, the Lofts at 624, Shreveport Regional Arts Council, the Remington Suite Hotel and Robinson Film Center and we love them all.

Here’s how it works. On March 24 get to artspace, 710 Texas, starting at 5 pm with your I.D. You will be checked in, given a passport and your very own shot glass and turned loose to have fun. You can walk or jump on the trolley to visit all five locations and sample all 35 beers. You can eat, sample brews, hang out with friends, learn about downtown. The only requirement is that you have fun. The event is limited to the first 500 21-years old or older.
