There are going to be a lot of big happenings downtown June 15-19, so mark your calendars so you won’t miss a one! The Juneteenth celebration kicks off with the Shreveport-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting on Thursday, June 15 at Sam’s Town Casino. The weekend will reach a crescendo with the giant Let the Good Times Roll Festival and the popular ‘art-ish Black Art Show, but first, an important note about parking!

GREEN ICONS are FREE parking, BLUE ICONS are PAY parking, YELLOW ICONS are RESERVED Parking. Pay Parking options range from $3 to $10, please bring exact amount because some of the lots cannot give change. ALL on-street meter parking is FREE after 5 pm Monday-Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday and on Monday, the official Juneteenth holiday. Please be aware that if a lot is not indicated on our map, we are unsure if it will be open. Private lots can ticket and/or tow.

No bags are allowed (the festival says fanny packs/small items allowed but all will go through a visual search.

All folding chairs will need to be removed from bags for visual search at the entrance.

The parade begins at the Veteran’s Memorial on the Clyde Fant Parkway and rolls to Commerce Street.
