Party like the Victorians at the Shreveport Water Works Museum’s 131st birthday celebration!

Saturday, May 5 from 11 am- 3 pm is going to be a blast. Lunch under the majestic oaks with great food from a variety of food trucks. Take part in Victorian party games, listen to live music, tour the water works and railroad museums, learn about Cross Bayou’s historic A-Truss Railroad Bridge, get up close and personal with critters from the Walter Jacobs Nature Park, find some treasures at the Silent Auction…and all the while, you’ll be supporting our historic treasure water works. It’s going to be a great day for all ages. Isn’t this fun? We throw the party but YOU get the present!

Friends of the Water Works will be selling water and soft drinks as a fundraiser for the museum. Admission to the event is FREE, and all ages are welcome. Parking is FREE and will be across North Common Street. A golf cart limo will be making the loop to pick up and drop off visitors.We know we don’t look a day over 120, but we are, and we are excited to share it with you. Come visit us from 11 am- 3 pm to take part in Victorian party games, listen to live music, take tours, and enjoy lunch and snacks from a variety of food trucks.
