The 43rd annual Red River Revel and Louisiana Film Prize bring with them a few road closures to be aware of.

Beginning Friday, Sept. 28 and lasting through Sunday, Oct. 7, Crockett Street from Spring Street to the Clyde Fant Parkway adjacent to Festival Plaza will be closed to through traffic. In addition, the 600 block of Commerce Street will be monitored by officers and limited only to Revel workers and vendors.

The street closures For the Louisiana Film/Food/Music Prizes begin Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. and will last until Sunday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m.

The two streets that are closed are the 700 block of Texas street (between Louisiana Ave. and Common St.) and the 500 block of Louisiana (between Texas St. and Milam St.)

Motorists can still drive Louisiana adjacent to the Lofts at 624/Rhino Coffee, they will just have to take a left at Texas. There should be no detours or delays on Common, Travis or Fannin.

Please be aware of increased pedestrian and bicycling traffic and give them right of way!
