Taco Wars Needs Volunteers! (Posted March 31, 2022)

Taco Wars, PrizeFest’s amazing day of all things tacos, is moving downtown to the area around the famed Municipal Auditorium and they need YOU as a trusted, smiling, can-do volunteer!

The April 30 event runs noon- 8 pm. If you are available and willing, email Tania Sarfraz. Volunteers will get not only undying gratitude, but will also score a film/music prize pass for the giant PrizeFest coming up in October.

That’s right! We’re back and bigger, bolder and spicier than ever! This year, on April 30 (from 12pm-8pm), come join us for the most amazing taco, salsa, and Latino cultural music fest the world has ever seen! Taco Wars is a family friendly event and admission is FREE!

Admission to Taco Wars is FREE, but purchasing tacos, drinks, and snacks require special tickets ($1 = 1 ticket). Skip the ticket lines, and buy your tickets in advance (https://latacowars.com) for Will Call pickup OR purchase your tickets at the event.

Every taqueria will provide free salsa and chips for your consideration, and each attendee will receive a voting token. Taste as many salsas as you like, and pick your favorite!
