We’re excited to introduce a new direction for the Downtown Artwalk – one designed to create consistency, increase visibility for businesses across the entire district, and make the experience more engaging for visitors each month.
This update is all about building a stronger, more connected Artwalk that encourages exploration, not just attendance.
Introducing Predictable Starting Points
As part of this updated model, we are establishing a series of consistent “Start Locations” each month.
These locations are designed to give visitors a clear, reliable place to begin their Artwalk experience, so they can easily orient themselves and then explore everything happening across downtown.
Think of these as starting lines, not finish lines. From there, the goal is movement – guiding visitors outward to discover businesses, activations, and experiences throughout the district.
A Flexible Way for Everyone to Participate
Alongside these starting points, we’re making Artwalk more accessible through a Self-Activation Participation Model.
If you’re not a start location, you can still fully participate by activating your own space and being part of the experience in a way that fits your business.
How to Get Involved
To participate, simply let us know how you plan to activate your space during Artwalk. This can include:
- Specials or promotions
- Live music, art, or programming
- Extended hours
- Collaborations or unique experiences
