Lake Street Salon Suites located at 413 Lake Street is now open for business and owner Sharron Cooper couldn’t be happier. She greeted friends and colleagues on Monday, April 24, for a sneak peak and grand opening of her salon spaces, that are for lease.

Friends and supporters stopped by to wish Sharron Cooper success!

District B councilman Gary Brooks and DDA’s Liz Swaine came by to see Cooper’s beautiful spaces.

Salon Suites Innovation, LLC  offers stylists a whole new way to be in business. Stylists can rent one of six ‘mini-salons’ at 413 Lake Street for four hours, a day, a week (or longer).

This allows stylists who are currently working out of their homes, or who simply don’t want to commit to a long-term booth rental, access to a beautiful and professional-looking facility at very reasonable rates.

Stylists can plan to have a day of cuts, colors, straightening, or other sessions and rent a fully-equipped space for $75 per day, or $200 per week. Stylists can also opt for a four-hour block for $60. Cooper says though the plan is to keep the spaces available for shorter-term options, she would be amenable to long-term leasing, as well.

Even though she is just opening, Cooper is already looking at opportunities to expand to provide spaces for others in the beauty industry; nail technicians, estheticians, massage therapists and more.
