CyberReef Solutions Awarded Grant and Match to Do Business Downtown

A high tech business that simplifies and accelerates customers’ ability to deploy secure cellular Internet of Things (IoT) communications over one of the largest wireless networks in the US has moved to downtown Shreveport.

CyberReef Solutions, formerly SCADA Access, has moved into One Texas Centre at 415 Texas Street, a property owned by One Texas Centre, LC that is managed and leased by Vintage Realty Company.

CyberReef Solutions becomes the first business to be awarded a Do Business Downtown grant by the Downtown Shreveport Development Corporation (DSDC), with support from the NW Louisiana Community Foundation. One Texas Centre, LC will match the DSDC Do Business Downtown grant.

“One Texas Centre, LC and Vintage are excited to be partnering with the DSDC for the good of downtown and welcome CyberReef Solutions to the property,” says One Texas Centre Property Manager, Meredith Cassell.    “As the high tech industry continues to flourish, Vintage Realty plans to position One Texas Centre to accommodate businesses of all sizes in the industry.”

The several thousand dollars saved with the Do Business Downtown grant and match from One Texas Centre will go right back into the business, says CyberReef Solutions’ founder, Hilton Nicholson.

Says Nicholson, “CyberReef Solutions’ plan is to build a center for Cellular Networks Cyber Security in Shreveport.   Over the next 2-3 years, we will be hiring between 25-30 engineers and technicians for new product development and customer support.”

“We are pleased to welcome Cyber Reef Solutions downtown,” says DSDC Executive Director Liz Swaine. “One benefit to locating in downtown Shreveport is the proximity to Venyu Solutions’ new facility being built out in the 500 block of Milam Street. We believe that Venyu Solutions will be a magnet for a number of high technology businesses that need access to cloud hosting, online data backup, virtualized disaster recovery and co-location.”
