Artipsy in the Red River District is offering a Mother’s Day Paint, Sip and Brunch on Sunday.  This is a (21+) event and is $50 per person. This includes all the painting supplies and brunch.

If your Mom is a history buff, have we got the place for you! The Shreveport Water Works Museum is open Sunday from noon- 4 p.m. Drive to this free (and remarkable) historic attraction at 142 North Common Street and tour guide Kevin Haines will tell you the amazing story of how this place came to be, how it did what it did, and why it mattered so much to the history of Shreveport! This is something that Mom and the entire family will enjoy.
